Locheilan Farmhouse Cheese is made on our dairy farm just north of Shepparton. Visitors are welcome to come and see our cows, how we care for them, and the delicious products we make from their milk.
Bruce will show you his gorgeous flavoursome soft cheeses at their peak for consumption, the fabulous blue cheeses that are matured in a separate room and the new creamy fetta that he is making.
The factory has been built with lots of windows so that visitors can see all the processes and equipment. Cheese can be purchased knowing that it is at optimum maturity for your enjoyment.
At different times of the year, visitors can see our baby calves, maybe a cow calving, our lovely peacocks and guinea fowl, as well as milking the cows in the afternoon. Our beloved cocker spaniels also love to greet visitors.
Open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5pm, but a phone call may find us open on other days also.
